CITY OF ALBUQUERQUE BIOPARK
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Located alongside the famous Rio Grande The Bio Park is split into two sites with the Aquarium 1.5 miles also alongside the river. The Delga Electric tram has been introduced to link these two sites with a sustainable people mover that fall in line with Albuquerque’s ambition to be a top ten city using renewable energy.
The traditional Western style theming of the Delga is ideal for Albuquerque and its rich heritage, and the open style of the carriages suit the year round warm climate enjoyed by the City.
