HELPING TO DELIVER YOUR TRANSPORT SOLUTION.
Our leisure Consultancy business is a direct result of our experience having worked with many clients in the introduction of new transit systems around the globe. Since the beginning , our aim has always been to offer a quality consulting service that works with our products to provide a full “turnkey” project solution for our customers.
Typically we will produce readable technical analyses using our multi-disciplined team to identify the most efficient and economic transport solution for your needs.
To compliment this service we offer a system review independently researching the most suitable transit systems on the market to meet the locations terrain, environmental and capacity requirements.
We also understand that liaising with manufacturers can be challenging for our clients and it is often difficult to comprehend the regulatory demands needed to get equipment into service. Our production team can take the pain away, managing the time lines, co-ordinating the inspection bodies and supervising factory acceptance tests along with final commissioning on site.
Our team is well travelled and location is not an issue; over the years we have built a substantial reputation around the globe.
OUR RANGE OF SERVICES.
INTEGRATED ROUTE PLANNING.
Large scale development projects are frequently broken down into individual subject areas, often with their own appointed design teams. Although not intentional, this can mean that the integration of a transport system is sometimes left to last with a consequence of forcing the route to fit in around the architectural plan, potentially making it less effective and often more expensive to install.
Any transport system needs to be geared around its peak operation times. As with route planning, capacity analysis needs to be one of the first stages in any new or expanding development. This is not an exact science, but with experience and knowledge of previous projects our team can provide informed attendance estimates including peak numbers and times.
With large transport fleets it is often easier and more cost effective to locate storage and maintenance facilities on site. Our experienced team have assisted in the design and layout of such facilities on a number of projects, covering all aspects from computerised spares storage systems to the provision of tools and equipment in the workshop.
Part of the decision process for selecting the right transport system should be its suitability for expansion in line with the operator’s ambitions for the future. Clearly there are many factors that could influence this. So by carrying out a study in the early stages, all issues can be considered in order that the system is designed to grow logically and organically with the site.
STORAGE & MAINTENANCE.
Once a suitable transport system has been selected, TDI can work directly with the various OEM equipment suppliers, on behalf of the customer, to define specific technical performance requirements including all colours and finishes.
If required our legal team can also draw up and manage all supplier contracts.
Not all transport systems are included in the initial planning and build stages and so have to be integrated at a later stage within an existing site. Our engineers, working with a client’s own team, can review the terrain and limitations on access and alignment to produce a report that will offer a range of potential options and recommended solutions.
This expertise includes all aspects of development starting with the definition of vehicle performance, styling, and ergonomics right through to detailed body structures, drivers cabs, saloon interiors, power train development and full production engineering for prototyping and series manufacture.
